Since about 2007 or 2008 (who can keep track) a group of musicians fronted by Marty O'Connor have played here every other Wednesday. They show up religiously, asking no pay at all other than what has become the traditional Passing Of The Hat between sets and every dollar collected goes directly to the Second Harvest Food Bank of NWPA. Last year (2011) they collected just a little over $8000! Already this year (today is March 16, 2012) we've gotten a little over $2000 already. ($1200 of that came from our first blow-out Marty Gras!)
