Hello Fun Seekers,
It looks like summer is
starting with this Memorial Day Weekend. It was like summer at
Bobby's Place last night. The dance floor (aka: sidewalk
out front) was filling up with dancers and to our delight some new faces were
also enjoying the evening. But we did miss Joe and Laurie who we thought
might show.
THURSDAY--- The
Colony Jazz Trio lights up Live Jazz Thursdays at The
Colony Pub and Grill.
FRIDAY---
Tonight is this year's first Downtown Bike Night. State
St. will be hopping. And to mark the event Rick and The
Roadhouse Rockers will be playing from 6-9 at The
Cellblock. Other early starts would include Tom
Hitt at Pie-In-The-Sky and Chris
Mathers at The Oasis. After an early start we
will be headed to Rainbow Gardens for the Spring Fling. The list of Bands sounds fun,
Ruby Port, Four Jays,
Matty B. and the Dirty Pickles, the
Bluesbeaters, Twilight and the
Neighborhood Boys. But if your staying Downtown try
SWAGG at Brewerie or The American Ride
Band at Billie's in the Avalon.
SATURDAY---
Enjoy Sam Hyman with dinner tonight at Alto
Cucina. Then make a quick stop at The Bull Frog
Bar for Dollar Bill and the Spare Change. But
with summer in the air, Dobbins Landing is the spot for the
evening. Be entertained by Endless Summer at Rum Runners and
The Dock Boys at The Cove.
SUNDAY---
Sittin' on the Dock of The Bay you won't be wasting time listening to The
Dock Boys at Rum Runners from 4 until
8.
TUESDAY--- What
better way to spend a Tuesday Evening than watching The Gem City Concert
Band perform at St. Mark's Episcopal Church 4701 Old
French Rd.
WEDNESDAY--- Here
comes the Wild Rib Cook Off & Music Festival in Perry
Square. More next week.
We hope to see you out and about. Or at least
I'll hear from you about your Real Estate needs.
